The Mesa County Water Association has a 23 year history of providing water education in Western Colorado. Founded in 1985 to bring Grand Valley water users together to understand the proposed Two Forks Reservoir Project, the organization has held well-attended “Water 101” courses on the basics of water law and policy for many years, as well as periodic forums on timely topics.
